Provides guests with information and assistance as needed. Applicant must be 16 years or older. This position may require a Driver Verification Background check. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Works individually or with crewmembers to direct guest vehicles to parking spaces. Directs parking in a manner to maximize the number of vehicles that can safely park in each lot. May drive parking shuttle occasionally. Provides guests with information and assistance as the first point of contact with the guest. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Walking/standing position; can move at will but may be required to be in a standing position for long periods of time. Will lift up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. rarely while carrying supplies. Must be willing and able to shovel snow and help out in other departments if needed. Will use hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation. All sensory skills needed. Exposed to ALL temperature and moisture conditions. Position is 100% outdoors. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Must have or be willing to obtain extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities and events. Will process money for paid parking. Will set up, remove, and repair parking guides. Responsibilities are listed as guidelines and position is not necessarily limited to these items. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SKILLS: Excellent customer service skills, prefer an outgoing personality EDUCATION: English reading, writing, basic math EXPERIENCE: None LICENSE NEEDED: None required, valid Drivers License insurable by Schweitzers insurance carrier preferred, restrictions available upon request. MACHINES OR TOOLS OPERATED: Company vehicles, two-way radios, shovels, hand tools. JUDGEMENT / MENTAL COMPLEXITY: Moderate REVIEW SCHEDULE: This position and the person filling it will be evaluated once per season.
