What you will do:

The CI Specialist will apply our people talents to produce at the pace of customer demand using optimal resources achieving lowest cost with Lean & Six Sigma quality across the entire Value Stream.

How you will do it:

  • Using standard tracking and reporting systems, will prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion and achievement of product / process quality and savings goals while monitoring project progress to ensure updates and desired results are implemented
  • Facilitate cross-functional expert teams to drive breakthrough or Best-in-Class performance in People, Quality, Material Flow, and Cost.
  • Drive and coach multi-functional teams to apply correct lean tools while using DMAIC to achieve CI milestones
  • Collaborate with C.I. Manager to assess the Current state of the plant's Operations and help in developing Future State vision and implementation plan through Value Stream Mapping Analysis
  • Assist the Plant Manager in any strategic initiative that will help in compliance to standards and implement new systems that will continuously improve the plant including facilitating and using the Hoshin Kanri tool to drive plant strategy.
  • Understand operational capital plan and assist with leading Capital budget project team in monthly/yearly capital plan achievement.

What we look for:

Required:

  • Has demonstrated high level performance in current and previous positions.
  • Possesses basic statistical knowledge and the ability to apply statistics to product and process improvement projects.
  • Has a solid grasp of manufacturing principles, including Process, Information, and Material flow.
  • Has a solid understanding of lean principles.
  • Possesses basic computer skills (experience with spreadsheet applications would be very helpful).
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Where legally permissible, if hired, candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 no later than his/her start date, unless candidate has a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precluding, he/she from receiving the vaccine.

Preferred

  • Preferred Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Has at least 3-5 years continuous improvement experience and is able to understand the organization and its business products and processes fluidly.
