Position Title: Assembler
Wage: $17/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:30am-4pm Monday-Thursday QPS Employment Group is hiring an Assembler for a company in Springfield, MO. This is a contract to hire role. Assembler Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate hand and power tools - Position, align, and adjust work pieces and electrical parts to facilitate wiring and assembly - Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, work orders to determine assembly instructions - Perform daily housekeeping and cleanliness procedures - Troubleshoot and adjust equipment, as necessary Assembler Requirements: - Ability to read blueprints - Ability to do basic math - Ability to read, write, and understand and interpret instructions - Lift 50lbs or less - Must pass drug screen - Work in a team with others - Follow instructions and take direction - Follow personal protective equipment policies - Work in manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and fumes - Fast-paced environment with moving objects, sharp edges, and congested work area - Push, pull, kneel, reach overhead, grasp, and lift to 70lbs QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
