What You Will Do


  • Design, Develop, program, validate and maintain clinical trial databases according to company standards based on identified business needs or deficiencies.
  • Act as primary contact to the data management team for assigned studies, supplying all necessary technical support, and ensuring quality of the programming.
  • Coordinate with the database manager and network administrator to integrate database systems into existing workflows, technologies, systems and operational procedures.
  • Additional responsibilities include writing specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting applications using programming/scripting languages and development tools.
  • Develop solutions - Meet with the project team and other stakeholders to develop business requirements and workflows. Collaborate with regulatory and/or compliance specialist to ensure that applications meets or exceeds all national, state, local and institutional requirements.
  • Solution support and customer service - Perform quality control measures periodically to monitor system to detect errors, data problems and performance issues; determine where optimizations can be made to the existing workflow and propose changes to team.
