HR Representative

SUMMARY:

The HR Representative is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. The HR Representative will be the primary point of contact for all HR-related functions at the SNF Polychemie site in Pearlington, MS. The HR Representative will handle various administrative tasks such as employee onboarding, maintaining employee records, handling employee inquiries, assisting with recruitment and hiring processes, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. The HR Representative will act as a liaison between employees and management, helping to resolve any HR-related issues or concerns. The HR Representative may also assist with employee training and development programs, contribute to HR projects and initiatives, and support basic administration and office management at the Pearlington site.

LOCATION: This full-time position is based in Pearlington, MS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:




HR Responsibilities:



  • Supports the organization by implementing and administering human resources programs or policies
  • Ensure all personnel documents are filed in the Docuware system
  • Verifies and updates employee information in HRIS
  • Assists employees with Payroll and Benefits inquiries and enrollment
  • Provides assistance and guidance on HR-related questions
  • Assists with entering and recording training documentation in Syberworks
  • Schedules, leads, and conducts New Hire Orientation
  • Liaise with site management to manage, address, or mitigate people-related concerns
  • Manages internal and external recruitment activities for the site
  • Coordinates onsite interviews and schedules
  • Attend and participate in local recruitment functions and community events
  • Liaise with Corporate HR team to ensure alignment and execution of HR policies and procedures
  • Coordinating HR initiatives that enhance engagement, performance, and retention (e.g., company surveys, recognition, etc.)
  • Monitor and report trends, industry changes, and regulatory updates to HR Leadership
  • Manages site-specific announcements and news on SNF Connect
  • Participate in HR staff meetings, projects, and special assignments as needed
  • May provide HR support or collaboration at other SNF sites as needed



Office Administration Responsibilities:



  • Order and maintain office supply stock
  • Data collection/collation for US and France reports
  • Maintain training records on thelocal server
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and/or plan meetings and functions to include scheduling of venue
  • Assists with FedEx/UPS shipping (labels, packaging supplies, required documents)
  • Assist with headcount and accountability during incidents (muster reports)
  • Provide support with uniform management, safety boots, and safety glasses (ordering, returns, etc.)

  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or HR Management is required. (Or may consider commensurate work experience)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR Administration, Customer Service, or a similar field
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in utilizing HRIS system, preferably Workforce Now ADP and E-Time
  • Familiar with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably iCIMS or Monster
  • Experience in an HR leadership role is preferred
  • Able to travel 25% of the time to support other manufacturing sites and/or recruiting functions
