Executive Communication & Marketing

Job Description

Our student communications team is looking for a knowledgeable go-getter to support our strategies by organizing our digital tactics, coordinating the user journey, and aligning content.

You will know the goals of each campaign inside and out, study the strategies, ask the right questions, and organize the digital tactics. You will plan the user journey for each campaign and be able to articulate it. Then you'll make sure it all comes together online for our audience when campaigns are executed. You'll also monitor the results of digital tactics to be included in our wrap reports and make recommendations for improvement.

When departments from across campus need to know how the digital tactics are meant to be coordinated and function together, you'll have the answer.
In between campaigns, you'll bring the team info on current digital trends and practices. By researching new ideas you'll help keep our digital footprint modern and fresh.

Our team aims to produce the best and most efficient marketing and communications campaigns to support Enrollment Management, including university-wide recruitment, recruitment travel, prospective student campus visits, and transactional communications to current students. We specialize in the design and production of targeted print materials (publications, postcards, letters, event invitations, posters, envelopes). Our work also includes mailings, emails, digital content and text messages. Our team is highly efficient, collaborative, kind, and energetic. We are a team where all ideas warrant discussion, no viewpoint is discouraged, and everyone gets a seat at the table.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Guiding comprehensive digital strategy, including organic social media, campaign landing pages, and integrating print and digital.
  • Ensuring digital content aligns with communication strategy, as well as best practices for information architecture, user experience and analytics.
  • Bringing well-informed, strategic input to the team with respect to digital presence for various tactics and platforms.
  • Writing, providing content and making edits to various Enrollment Management websites including Admissions.
  • Monitoring analytics for email, social media, websites and campaign landing pages to ensure goals are being reached.

Skills and Traits:

  • Pays great attention to detail to align the content among all digital tactics -- within campaigns and across all platforms.
  • Works openly and collaboratively with other team members to streamline and simplify messages, within each campaign and across campaigns.
  • Keeps track of many tasks at once and works quickly while maintaining accuracy.
  • Works easily within software systems and navigates between several seamlessly.
  • Communicates clearly and articulates professionally in person, virtual meetings, and in writing via email, Teams chat, inside the project management system, etc.
