Description

Systems Administrators are responsible for completing tasks assigned in support of servers and peripherals and the software required to operate these systems. They are responsible for gathering IT requirements for new branches. They are responsible for supporting and maintaining a relationship between IT and Departmental contacts.

How You will Make an Impact:



  • Installs, configures, monitors and supports departmental servers and applications. Patches servers and works with vendors when necessary.
  • Troubleshoots application and server performance issues.
  • Provides technical support and guidance.
  • Works with the Facilities Department for the IT requirements for new branches, decommissions and relocations. This includes budgeting, designing, scheduling and installation.


Who You Are:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related area of specialty preferred and 2-3 years of experience in the field or in a related field.
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within an Information Technology related field.
  • Requires the ability to travel between multiple locations.
  • Must be available to serve as needed on an after hours on-call support rotation.
  • Must be available 24x7 for technical support as required.
