Genesis10 is currently looking for a Contract Business Side Project Manager/Business Analyst for a 12-month contract in Roseville CA. Must go on site 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday)

Job Description:

Looking for a Contract Business Side Project Manager/Business Analyst for a 12-month contract in Roseville CA. Must go on site 2 days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday)

Experience with managing business side process improvement/re-engineering projects from concept to implementation and working with virtual teams including both in-house and contractor/vendor resources is highly preferred. Certifications such as PMP are desirable but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, responsible to:
  • Report on status of new or existing projects; forecast resource capacity; formulate and define project scope and objectives and maintain and create project roadmaps in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Lead small- to medium sized project meetings and events; create, update, and validate project data and report the data to leaders and peers; create and maintain project records; work with less experienced colleagues in the ongoing completion of their work according to best practices and standards.
  • Identify and recommend corrective action for troubled projects.
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives and understand business needs along process improvement and industry requirements.
  • Analyze business and user needs, document requirements for process improvements.
  • Stakeholders that they would work with: Strategic people, business units, functional owners, end user SME's
  • General knowledge of change management
  • Other duties as assigned or required.



Required Basic Qualifications:

  • Competent to work in all phases of business analysis; maintains awareness of the implications of actions in the business environment.
  • Possesses detailed knowledge of requirements gathering methods and procedures and can provide direction to less experienced team members.
  • Skilled in as is to be/current state future state
  • Has managed projects from business concept, strategy, analysis to build/implementation.
  • Typically has 7-10 years of relevant experience of both Business Side Project Manager and Business Analyst
  • Business analysis planning and monitoring, Elicitation and Requirements management and communication
  • Requirements analysis, solution assessment and validation, diagram and model development, business analysis and written project documentation
  • Gather and define project requirements and risks
  • Recommends to project team members on action steps to achieve the goals and objectives of project
  • Develop time and cost estimates utilizing both detailed and milestone project plans
  • Oversee and control ongoing costs, schedules, resources, scope, and risk to project
  • Directs project team members to take necessary action steps to achieve the goals and objectives of the project
  • Implements methods, procedures and quality objectives including metrics for assessing progress
  • Utilize established project standards, procedures, and quality objectives
  • Leads project kickoff meetings, communicating individual roles and project expectations.
  • Ensures that all team members have the tools required to perform effectively
  • Resolves conflicts within assign projects
  • Identifies specific opportunities or weaknesses where change is needed. Keeps management informed of same.
  • Provide work direction to assigned projects, including scheduling, assignment of work and review of project efforts
  • Monitor project milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule. Identifies ways to resolve issues and keeps management informed.
  • Assess variances from the project plan and develop/implement changes necessary to ensure that the project remains within specified scope, and is within time, cost and quality objectives.
  • Conduct formal review with project sponsor at project completion to confirm acceptance and satisfaction. Tracks client satisfaction levels.
  • Provides team with constructive feedback as it pertains to project performance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. Knowledge of SDLC



Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in related fields; or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • At a minimum, the ability to work Monday through Friday.
  • Consistent attendance is required, which may include attendance at after-hour company events. Ability to accept supervision.
  • Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone, video conferences and in person.
  • Must be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the company.
  • Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.



Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay rate $60.00.-$66.00
