This is an onsite, full-time Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Environmental Quality Manager position supporting the Fairfield, NJ, location. SUMMARY: Responsible for managing the implementation of environmental laboratory quality programs, policies, and procedures from a functional or technical perspective for a single site or multi-site laboratories within a region or division. Provides advisement to laboratory management staff in quality related matters, including performance, regulatory compliance, and data quality and usability. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field; AND three (3) years of experience in environmental laboratory quality systems or operations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in lab, office, and field settings. Work is subject to exposure to blood or bodily fluids, chemicals, fumes, gasses, noxious odors and related items in a lab and environmental setting. Work subject to travel on a periodic basis.
