Overview

TheSr BusinessConsultant provides process and functional product expertise on customer implementations of BY's solutions. They work closely with the customer to understand their business needs and align a quality solution that adds business value.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management,and executive level audiences
  • Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodologybuilding trust
  • Participate in business process analysis/design, construction, validation, and deployment phases of the project. Understands how the BY solutions within area of focus can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes
  • Develops functional specifications of sound design for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens that achievecustomers' business objectives
  • Creates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the project
  • Develops and executes test scripts to ensure BY software consistently meets thecustomer's business objectives
  • Provides non-technical support during the "go-live" period. Provides primary user support and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrity
  • Recognizes and highlights incremental revenue opportunities withexisting customers / projects
  • Serves in a supporting functional role while attending and contributing to key meetings between the BY project stakeholders, customer stakeholders, andcorresponding leadership teams
  • Ensures knowledge transfer is conductedwith key customer project team
  • Communicates business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to productfunctionality and enhancements
  • Communicates the value proposition of BY's solutions to our customers
  • Clearly understand customer's business requirement and clarify any misunderstanding between different business users
  • Escalates issues that may have negative scheduling or financial impact
  • Estimates specifications accurately
  • Works with project team to understand and help to provide detail functional requirementsfrom functional specifications
  • Workscloselywith the customer teamto guide them through allphases of the project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline; MSc/PhD. in Industrial Engineering, Warehouse & Logistics, Operational Research, Management or related field preferred
  • Supply chain executionexperienceinretail, manufacturing and 3PLbusinesses
  • Familiar withwarehouseprocesses
  • Ability to manage customer expectationsinregards to functional issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

The salary range for this position is $85,788 - $108,212 USD.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
