We are seeking a Behavior Technician - Fulltime to join our team at our program in Grand Rapids, MI. If you are a Paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician, Behavior Health Technician, or a Personal Care Aide, this is the opportunity for you! We provide PAID RBT training and have opportunities for clinical supervision towards licensure. Earn $16.00 to 18.00 an hour depending on experience and education with Fulltime benefits. POSITION DETAILS and DUTIES At Merakey, you can make a change in the life of a child. Using evidence-based treatments (such as Applied Behavior Analysis - ABA) to provide 1:1 direct service in family homes, schools, and community settings. You will get to have fun and let your personality shine while applying individualized treatment. * Review and implement IEP or treatment plan * Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent/staff correspondence and all required documentation * Provide behavioral interventions and physical interventions as needed. Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills: Required: * Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required. * Availability to work during operation hours of 9:00am - 7:30 pm Monday - Friday. Some Evenings are required. Preferred: * 3-6 months experience in the division of behavioral health services. * Current Registered Behavior Technician certification OR ability to complete 40 hours of competency-based training within 1-2 weeks of employment. * Completed college coursework in mental health, child development, or a related field.
