Overview

As a Senior Full Stack Developer on our Technology team, you will partner with our global engineering team and business stakeholders to deliver value by building high-quality software products via agile development lifecycle. You contribute to the wider objectives of Account TD to ensure flow, consistent standards and approach to software development and design to a common shared framework. What You'll Do

  • Develop, tune, execute, and manage Oracle PL/Structured Query Language (SQL) stored procedures, functions, packages, and database triggers; Prepare new Oracle platform version rollouts (including testing and documentation)

  • Support the data architecture with some data integration, providing support on Oracle Databases Platform used within the Bank; Design, implement, and test solutions, providing support through the production process; Build reliable pipe-lines that is easy to support in production and design and develop high-quality and easily maintainable code

  • Monitoring database performance and tuning SQL queries and identifying and resolving scalability issues; You will also be responsible for performance tuning including tuning complex queries to perform on a large historical data

  • He/she will also provide subject matter expertise and level 3 support to ensure the smooth running of systems and quick recovery from outages/downtime

  • Ensure required documentation is in-place and up to date for all data management solutions
    Collaborate with other internal or external teams on projects such as sourcing data feed; Informatica Extract Transform Load (ETL) and ELT tools from a variety of data sources using batch processing

  • Experience creating logical entities and defining their attributes defining the relationships between the various data objects; Developing and amending stored procedures and PL/SQL code to implement business logic

Skills You'll Need

  • Strong knowledge of and experience implementing DevOps best practices including behavior driven development, test driven development and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices; develop PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, SQL statements in Oracle, and ensuring backup and recovery of all data, for Oracle data using RMAN

  • Create tables, views, indexes, triggers, types, packages, and other database objects as needed; Tableau Reporting Tool to modify and build Regulatory report in Tableau; Informatica ETL Tool experience to load data and execute scheduler jobs

  • Installation and patching of MS SQL Server Databases on Windows and Installation and patching of Oracle Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) for Oracle EBS on Linux; Also experience designing scalable solutions across technologies, and experience in core java (including multi-threading, performance tuning), Spring framework modules including spring boot and REST micro services

  • Implementing SOX controls on new and existing databases and developing and documenting formal processes and procedures; Experience driving technical deliveries across teams and mentoring and/or managing junior developers

  • Act as a leader and contact person for all Data-related topics and questions - both from the Data Engineers (by actively coaching them) and from the other team members; Should provide active support to rest of the team when needed and have strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills

  • Control-M Scheduler experience like Control-M preferable; Must have experience using bulk loading methods - Oracle sqlldr, external tables

  • Strong knowledge of and experience implementing DevOps best practices including CI/CD and experience in core java (including multi-threading, performance tuning), Spring framework

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
