IT Change Management Analyst

Position Summary

The purpose of this role is to support the areas of responsibility of the Change Management Team. Areas of responsibility include:

* Change Management.
* Configuration Management (CMDB).
* Problem Management.
* IT Disaster Recovery.

* Role provides the opportunity to work virtually.

Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL

* Provide global support to end users for the areas mentioned above.
* Complete run & maintain tasks (including advanced level tasks) in support of areas mentioned above.
* Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the areas mentioned above. This includes understanding Change Mgmt. policies, procedures, standards, processes, and work instructions. Be able to effectively communicate this information to users and management.
* Assist users with IT ticketing system questions and issues related to Change Mgmt., Config Mgmt., & Problem Mgmt.
* Identify and report issues and enhancement requests for IT ticketing system modules that Change Mgmt. Team is responsible for.
* Lead meetings and establish action items & next steps.
* Lead small to medium-sized projects and initiatives as assigned.
* Create & maintain documentation and training materials, as well as conduct training sessions and prepare for them.
* Provide continuous improvement suggestions for operations and support of the areas mentioned above.

NON-ESSENTIAL

* Lead and perform system testing and coordinate UAT for IT ticketing system upgrades.
* Participate in annual IT Disaster Recovery drills (review functional validation DR docs and complete functional validation steps for the IT ticketing system modules that Change Mgmt. Team is responsible for).
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* At least 3 years of experience working in Information Technology field.

* At least 3 years of experience working in IT Change Management.
* Solid understanding of Change Management.
* Basic understanding of Configuration Management and Problem Management.
* Basic understanding of ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) and ITSM (IT Service Management) concepts.
* At least 2 years of IT ticketing system experience.
* Solid MS Office products experience - MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

DESIRED

* Master's degree in computer science.
* General understanding of application lifecycle.
* SQL knowledge to read and write queries.

* Must have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with a variety of individuals and skill levels.
* Must possess good analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve process, ticketing system, and interpersonal issues.

* Must be proactive in managing workload and communicate up when time is available to work on additional tasks.
* Ensures that regular consistent communication takes place within area of responsibility.
* Must be accountable for quality customer service.
* Must be able to complete routine assignments without direction.
* Must be able to complete advanced assignments.

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
