Job Description:

  • Microchip Technology, Inc is looking for an Engineering student who is currently enrolled in a degree program in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials or equivalent and scheduled to graduate in 2026 to help sustain process engineering in our Microchip Fab 2 facility in Tempe, AZ. This position would be part-time during the school year and full- time during breaks and summer.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and evaluate tests to qualify new processes
    • Troubleshoot equipment and process problems
    • Write process specifications and reports
    • Analyze test results

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Working towards a BS/MS degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials or equivalent.
  • Previous work experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in written and oral communication.
  • No sponsorship available for this position.
This position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.
