Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to production through defined inventory practices, including physical counts and reconciliation. Each day, you will manage daily stock checks, fill out related forms, communicate and reconcile discrepancies, and enter appropriate information to the KBM inventory system.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Materials Team in Hackettstown.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Maintaining complete and accurate data in the ERP system.
Participating in regular inventory control processes.
Managing the workflow for the Cycle Counters.
Creating count sheets for Cycle Counters.
Performing counts and adjustments, as needed.
Applying defined inventory practices, including physical counts and reconciliation.
Performing random count of various inventoried items.
Counting finished goods items at various intervals by hand or counting scales.
Comparing actual physical count against system inventory and recount those items that are out of tolerance.
Investigating root cause of the discrepancy, recommend changes and prepare inventory adjustments.
Entering adjustments into KBM system after receiving approval.
Reporting all adjustments to Management.
Keeping work area neat, orderly and in a safe, hazard-free condition.
Performing, as assigned, other similar, related and material handling duties.

Qualifications for the role
  • You enjoy working with inventory control and leading a team
  • You have 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with inventory
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of inventory ERP systems such as KBM, AS400 or similar
  • You are passionate about leading a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • You are at ease communicating in English
  • You hold current work authorization valid in the US
  • You have the ability to lift up to 40lbs, perform repetitive operations and pull/push function and stand for up to 8 hours daily
  • You have strong Interpersonal Communication and skills (Verbal & Written)
  • You are comfortable bending, twisting, reaching and working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment
