GENERAL FUNCTION

Member of the manufacturing team is responsible for the production of various eyewear products

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to adhere to safety guidelines

Ability to work as part of a team to meet hourly goals

Ability to work schedule as assigned

Works in various production areas and operations

Operates equipment within the production area(s) - as required

Ability to use hand tools, and pneumatic tools

May be assigned to different workstations as production needs require or shift from one station to another to reduce fatigue factor.

Manual Dexterity and Simple Assembly of Parts

Responsible for Identifying Gross Defect while inspecting parts & product

English Aptitude Ability to read write and understand English (i.e. Safety Protocols, Operating Procedures, Labels and other Instructions).

Responsible for keeping work station(s) cleaned and in an organized manner

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

HS diploma or GED

Ability to read and understand both written and spoken English instructions and directions in order to safely and effectively perform job duties (ex. ability to read and understand job safety requirements and procedures, instructions and directions from supervisors, lead or co-workers)

Required to track daily hourly production inputs in various systems, i.e. MES, MS-Excel, manual documentation.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, employee are regularly required to demonstrate sound dexterity, while being able to reach with arms on a frequent basis; must be able to speak English and listen for ongoing instructions from the area leaders and others.

The employee is required to stand for the majority of their shift, some walking & sitting may be required

Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, color vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1 year experience working in a fast paced manufacturing/production environment.

Pay Range: 16.25-23.26

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
