* Develops and implements an effective strategy for growth and efficiency of maintenance operations in
the Slot Department.
* Regularly reviews and evaluates slot maintenance departmental performance and takes the
appropriate steps in resolving unsatisfactory results or conditions.
* Assures the smooth and effective operation of all slot maintenance operations and implements
machine compliance with approved property policy and rules and regulations of the Gaming
Commission.
* Conducts monthly review of all machines for profitability and player appeal making any immediate
changes as necessary.
* Coordinates slot machine moves and conversions with slot manufacturers and appropriate in-house
personnel.
* Responsible for the development and implementation of all departmental maintenance training
programs.
* Assists the Director of Slot Operations in the analysis and revenue growth potential of each slot
machine.
* Assists the Director of Slot Operations in monitoring established cost-containment/budgetary controls.
* Enforces performance standards, policies, and procedures as they relate to his/her span of control.
* Sets priorities for shift supervisors providing guidance and assistance as needed.
* Maintains appropriate staffing levels in the department by interviewing, selecting, training, evaluating,
promoting, disciplining, and terminating employees as needed.
* Through observation, evaluation, and preventive maintenance schedules, keeps all equipment in a
functional state of repair.
* Monitors the performance of all outside services and the execution of all maintenance contracts.
* Initiates and maintains communication with subordinates, employees, management, and other
departments.
* Coordinates efforts directly with the IT Department on issues concerning Slot Accounting system.
* Responsible for data input into the EGDS system for machine movement, conversions, tournaments,
and EPROM submissions to IGC.
* Required to stand; walk; sit and stoop; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms;
and talk or hear.
* The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and work in a smoking environment.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
* Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as the company's
internal controls, policies, and procedures.
* Must be able to work in an environment with secondhand smoke, loud noises, and large crowds.
* Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolong periods of time (7+ hours).
* Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
* Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and
weekends.
* Other duties may be assigned at any time.
