Overview

The Communications Specialist will be able to Demonstrate a broad understanding of the principles of communication practices and tactics; ability to develop written or graphic communication materials for print, electronic media, and or Web. As well as demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and spelling and punctuation. This is a Part Time Role, 3 days per month, between the hours of 8-5 M-F.



Responsibilities

    Facilitate a panel made up of representatives of disadvantaged communities throughout Company's service territory.
  • Become proficient enough in knowledge of EPIC Programs as well as Company's individual projects within the Program to lead conversations about Program and projects.
  • Be a professional facilitator; facilitate a panel.


Qualifications

Required Skills/Attributes:

  • Three (3) years experience of facilitating.
  • Experience professionally facilitating meeting.
  • Experience working with community based organizations.
  • Ability to learn subjects quickly.
  • Working knowledge grid technology
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Experience putting together agendas, notes for facilitated panel discussions.
  • Experience facilitating discussions with these types of organizations.
  • Skills and experience to drive these groups beyond conversation to desired actions.
  • Ability to assimilate knowledge quickly and speak intelligently about that knowledge.

Desired Skills/Attributes:

  • Utility expereince
  • Community Based organization experience.
  • Understanding of EPIC Programs.

Wage Data Per State Requirements

The pay range for this position is $32.00/hr - $40.00/hr. The starting pay will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
