Koch Specialty Plant Services, LLC has an immediate opening for an Onboarding Specialist in our Houston, TX location.

What You Will Do

  • Apply analytical analysis and data-driven decision-making to deploy optimized training plans and strategies that maximize return on investment and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate customer site entry requirements, such as safety council orientations, drug screenings, background checks, and customer site access forms, to ensure personnel can access the facility and begin work.
  • Ensure compliance with customer site requirements by completing all necessary site access forms and maintaining documentation.
  • Efficiently plan, organize, and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment with continuous change.
  • Accurately enter training records into the KSPS Personnel database.
  • Create and review professional written communication and correspondences to effectively communicate with the transient workforce regarding upcoming turnaround projects.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in scheduling training and coordination within the industrial industry, including working with a transient workforce.
  • Experience in working with ARSC Safety Councils and registering employees for safety training, pre-employment physicals, respiratory training, etc
  • Experience in utilizing ERP systems and MS Office products, with a particular emphasis on MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Experience in effectively planning, organizing, and prioritizing workloads in a fast-paced environment characterized by continuous change.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Experience with DISA platform and ordering of Drug Testing & Background Checks to determine eligibility of employees against client site requirements.
