The Koch Enterprise Finance Applications Team at Koch Global Services is currently looking for an IT Product Owner to join our team. This position will primarily focus on the Procurement to Pay (PTP) capabilities, where you will play a crucial role in driving transformation and strategy. Your responsibilities will involve supporting enterprise applications and related technologies for Procurement to Pay.

The IT Product Owner position requires strategic thinking, strong relationship-building skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to lead and develop the product team to deliver on maintaining a product and transformation efforts within the PTP domain that bring value to Koch Inc.

The Enterprise Finance Applications team is a product centric organization focused on value-added strategic partnerships with other Koch companies, our accounting service delivery organization and transformation teams in ownership and support of several key processes and platforms, including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, and Treasury. What You Will Do

  • Provide direction and prioritization to the product team that aligns with the stakeholder's vision.
  • Drive accountability with our product vendors for project or product deliverables
  • Understand the market and leading practices within the marketplace for the product.
  • Understand product costs and determine the cost recovery mechanism.
  • Develop detailed knowledge and understanding of the business process.
  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and IT teams to appropriately implement technology solutions.
  • Work with the business to develop training plans and training materials that will be used in the training of end users on new systems and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology vendors to understand their capabilities and strategic roadmaps.
  • Manage project or product scope by thoroughly understanding the business culture, environment, and people.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage applications across the organization to minimize duplicate systems within the organization.
  • Engage in analysis and decision-making processes for new initiatives.
  • Communicate with leadership and stakeholders on current initiatives.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience working in large, complex platforms with business process workflow or leading IT projects implementations.
  • Collaboration and influencing skills with peers and customers to influence and gain alignment on objectives across the globe.
  • Experience working with product vendors, external customers and IT Teams for project deliverables.
  • Strong economic, analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving ability.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience implementing and/or supporting integrations and business processes used in Procurement-to-Pay.
  • Experience implementing projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Experience determining product costs.
  • Experience with data centric approaches.
