Job Description F-35B Vertical LiftSystem Engineer Indianapolis, IN As the F-35B Vertical LiftSystem Engineer you will be part of the Software Systems Capability function and will be responsible for supporting the programs actuation, control, and hydraulic/fueldraulic systems. You will also support the system software through customer interfaces and test support. You will also work closely with service engineering, design, and production to conduct in-service fleet and production investigations while using a variety of data sources to proactively identify potential issues and improve the products' design. You will specify, design, and validate complex sub-systems, including high-level requirements for the software and/or hardware system components. This includes creation of mathematical models and simulations of control and actuation systems. You will also be responsible for the on-time delivery and quality of the controls sub-system and the artifacts associated with the design, verification, and validation of the system. You will achieve this through decomposition of designs, development of tests, and analysis to ensure that the system implementation satisfies the validated requirements.
