In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the testing and analysis of durability and special test transmissions for the PED department. This associate utilizes special testing techniques, analysis skills, and measurement abilities to judge the acceptable wear of tested transmissions. Upon completion, this associate compiles and submits a test report with the summary of testing completed and conclusions drawn for approval by the test unit leader. This is critical to ensuring the quality of transmissions produced by TMP. At Honda, our associates take pride in their responsibilities. A typical day for a Test Engineer will include: Perform testing to validate product specs and quality using advanced technical skills Analyze tested units and data results to make judgments using engineering principles Prepare and issue test reports suitable for distribution beyond TMP Provide advanced technical support to staff Manage test activities to project schedule and customer requirements Support development and maturation of new test modes as needed in the test bench software We are looking for qualified people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, open minds, and a disciplined work ethic.
