Description Be part of the Saint Therese difference! We are seeking a Maintenance Technician (Full-time) to serve seniors with compassionate, quality care at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers. This position will be scheduled 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and will participate in an on-call rotation every fourth week. Responsibilities: Maintains and makes repairs to the facility and equipment in a timely manner. Assists with coordination of maintenance requests and assists Plant Director with preventive maintenance. Responsible for painting and repairs to rooms and/or apartments to prepare for incoming residents. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED desired. Vocational training in related field preferred. Experience: Minimum three years related experience in a commercial building or health care environment preferred. Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Boilers License a plus. Pool Operator certification preferred. Preparing and painting both commercial and residential indoor spaces. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry skills. Ability to work with limited supervision and exercise appropriate judgment. Ability to learn quickly and handle a variety of related or unrelated jobs. Ability to perform manual labor, including being able to lift up to 50 Lbs.
