Job Summary

You will have the ability to supervise meter shop operations to support metering operational needs while effectively overseeing both union and professional employees.

Essential Functions

  • Supervises and gives direction to the department in accordance with company and organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides oversight of gas metering testing programs for Indiana, Ohio, and Minnesota in accordance with both regulatory and internal policies.
  • Able to work across the enterprise and with several departments to forecast metering needs while executing on the capital and O&M budget.
  • Plan, evaluate, and improves the efficiency of business processes and procedures.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, manufacturers, and vendors.
  • Regularly communicates with direct manager on metering department activities while proactively communicating issues as they arise.
  • Lead and contribute to a strong safety culture for meter shop operations.
  • Effectively manage performance, while praising or issuing corrective action according to contracts, company policies, and best practices.

Education Description

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university. Will consider relevant job-related experience.

Experience

  • Requires at least 5 years of prior work experience. May include gas measurement or operations experience.
