Job Description

The Benefits Analyst supports the daily administration of Omni's employer-sponsored health & welfare, retirement, and leave of absence programs. Reporting to the Corporate Benefits & Compensation Manager, this role assists associates, HR business partners, and the benefits team with program-related questions and tasks. The Benefits Analyst helps ensure compliance and provides data to support management decisions.

This position is based in Dallas, TX at the Corporate Office.



Responsibilities

    Assist with health & welfare, retirement, and leave of absence programs, including understanding eligibility, plan provisions, and policies.
  • Manage and respond to inquiries through the benefits ticketing system.
  • Help resolve benefit-related issues in collaboration with vendors.
  • Support new-hire orientations and the annual open enrollment process.
  • Assist third-party benefits administrators with eligibility and enrollment tasks.
  • Conduct basic audits to ensure proper plan administration.
  • Review vendor reports and help resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with wellness programs, such as organizing health fairs.
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate benefit payments.
  • Support leave of absence processes, including coordinating with third-party leave and disability vendors.
  • Help ensure accurate contributions and enrollment for the 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Assist with reconciling monthly invoices and addressing discrepancies with the Finance team.
  • Respond to Medical Support Notices.


Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may substitute for education.
  • Minimum 2- 3 years of experience in benefits administration or HR.
  • Basic understanding of state and federal laws related to benefits and retirement plans.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Customer service-oriented, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes (experience with HR systems like UKG/UltiPro and/or Dayforce is a plus).
