This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.

As part of a passionate and accomplished Lunar Permanence team, you will work at the intersection of program management, finance, scheduling and engineering, as well as supply chain, and production organizations. You will support our Sustaining Lunar Development leadership team and manage team SOW and coordination.

As part of the Sustaining Lunar Destinations team, you will provide direction as a member of the program management function, coordinating finance, scheduling and engineering, while working closely with the supply chain, and production organizations. You will support our Sustaining Lunar Development leadership team and work to manage team execution.

The SLD Integrator role reports to the SLD PMO Director and supports all activities within the SLD domain to effectively execute program operations. The PMO focal works closely with other PMO team members, Supply Chain, PP&C, and Finance, as well as members of our engineering teams to ensure the development and execution of program plans.

Specific tasks include:

  • General support of all activities in the domain of the SLD Program Operations Manager as needed to support program execution.
  • Support Program operations reporting with a focus on the performance of execution financial, organizational planning, staffing, tasking, and risk assessments.
  • Work with Supply Chain to coordinate Partner activities and support.
  • Support proposal efforts, and business-case development for follow-on work.
  • Coordinate with the Data Analytics team to develop, gather and maintain program metrics in support of Rhythm of Business (ROB) reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for Blue Origin's mission: Millions of people living and working in space!
  • B.S./B.A. degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in program/project management with complex technical systems.
  • Experience in establishing business and product development processes.
  • Experience in conducting/supporting process improvement initiatives.
  • Possess high attention to detail and strong organizational/coordination skills.
  • Demonstrated ability building trusting and effective working relationships that improve team performance and deliver results.
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Experience working collaboratively in small and large teams on fast-paced projects.
  • Ability to comfortably work in a rapidly changing ambiguous environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired:

  • Experience in program/project management on aerospace hardware development programs.
  • Experience with tracking and managing issues in the JIRA tool suite.
  • Experience with Confluence/Wiki Site development and operations.
  • Experience working with external suppliers and partners.
  • Experience managing and leading SOW execution and participating in business negotiations
  • Working knowledge of configuration management principles and practices.
  • Experience leading change management activities.
  • Experience with risk management processes and execution (technical and schedule).
  • Experience in organizational change management and setting up effective design/rollout of new business processes.

Compensation Range for:

CO applicants is $115,145.63-$161,203.88;WA applicants is $125,227.50-$175,318.50

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays.

Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
