ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Microsoft 365 Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support for Microsoft 365 applications, with a focus on SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. This role requires a deep understanding of these applications, the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues, design user-friendly SharePoint Online sites, and guide users in leveraging these tools effectively. You will play a pivotal role in recommending and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our end users. You will be working with managers and end users to organize documents and build efficient processes.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

  • Provide expert knowledge and advise end users regarding M365 modern workplace software and other enterprise collaboration tools.
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand their business objectives and challenges and identify current or new software solutions that align with their needs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of various modern workplace applications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with users, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the software selection and implementation process.
  • Work with business partners to recommend documentation organization, tasks, project scheduling tools[HG1] and other modern workplace best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on current Microsoft and other modern workplace applications to provide informed recommendations to managers and end users.
  • Provide training and support for clients using software applications, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal use.
  • Stay informed about competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for product improvement and differentiation.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or related field.[HG2] [ST3] Will consider candidates without a bachelor's degree, if other education, certifications and experience meets the job role duties and responsibilities.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Expert understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and other modern workplace applications, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively convey complex information to clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a regulated field such as medical device, healthcare/HIPAA experience
