• With limited supervision: make and repair tools, dies, molds, gauges, simple jigs and fixtures.
• Set up and operate all machines involved.
• Perform necessary assembly and bench work.
• Work from blueprints, models, sketches, and verbal instructions related to the work including use of shop and machinist handbooks.
• Keep work station clean and orderly.
• Perform other similar and related duties.
• Work under the close direction of Toolmaker 'A'.
  

Required Competencies:

• CNC machining experience
• Ability to interpret blueprint
• Manual machining experience including, grinding, milling, and turning

Preferred Competencies:

• CAM software programming experience
• Ability to execute high complexity jobs
• Mold building
• Okuma and Mori Seiki experience

Required Work Experience:

• 5-6 years Tool making experience

Required Education:

• High School Diploma
• Trade School experience or equivalent
