Job Description
The Corporate Controller will be an integral part of the leadership team, overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting as well as compliance with regulations.This role is critical in providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making and drive the company's financial performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare and review inter-company consolidations
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee external audits, addressing any findings promptly.
  • Manage cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
  • Prepare and actualize cash flow projections
  • Optimize working capital and manage banking relationships.
  • Improve processes by automation and implementation of software.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Coordinate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth and profitability.
  • Support M&A activities by integration and set-up ofacquisitions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or related area.
  • 10+ years of experience in Accounting, 5+ years in accounting for privately held companies and 5+ years of management experience
  • Experience with inventory
  • Proven time management, scheduling, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of mentoring and training team members.
  • Experience with large ERP systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, with strong excel skills.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
