What We DoFirst American is looking to add a Commercial Title Assistant to our growing team in Denver, Colorado. Our Company sets the standard for excellence in the commercial real estate space, and combining a passion for history and research with innovative technology and collaboration. This role operates in adynamic, fast-paced setting supporting our Commercial Underwriting Team in a wide range of duties from creating and maintaining title files, to solving intricate puzzles utilizing detective work and creative thinking. This position administratively supports single site to high-liability multi-site commercial real estate transactions. You will play a key role in coordinating the resolution and completion of the commercial title process.

What You'll Do:

  • Track order status, quality assurance review of product to ensure commitments are set up in accordance with customer's expectations, and all necessary documents are received, digital delivery of commitment and supporting documents to parties to the transaction
  • Support Underwriting Team with closing commercial real estate transactions by routing title comments and underwriting requests, ordering title and tax updates, and assembling and calculating pricing information, recording fees and transfer tax information
  • Coordinate and assist with the tracking and resolution of customer title comments, underwriting requests, and survey reviews with local, regional and national counsel and local field offices
  • Assist Underwriting Team with tracking the satisfaction of commitment requirements, including the preparation of requirements spreadsheets for multi-site transactions
  • Perform post-closing functions, including preparation of final policies in accordance with final markups and pro formas, and delivery of same to the parties

  • 2+ years of commercial title related experience preferred

Pay Range: $19.82-$26.43 Hourly
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
