Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Financial Analyst. The Senior Financial Analyst will support various general ledger activities for the Medical Center, including the annual budgeting process, monthly reporting, and analysis and forecasting. The Senior Financial Analyst is expected to add value by creating executive quality management presentations, dashboards & metrics, identifying and driving business analysis, providing decision support analysis to be used by management to facilitate informed decisions, and to generate valuable insights and transparency around all areas of the business. The Senior Financial Analyst will also build and enhance processes and controls across finance and related accounting supporting systems. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial results and consistency with corporate and business unit accounting policies and procedures, and identifying and communicating risks and opportunities. Job Responsibilities: -Create Monthly P&Ls per division -Variance Analysis -Submit MSS transactions, JVs, Cost transfers -Create monthly discretionary fund analysis and forecasts -Create annual budget reports; work in the budget system(hyperion), analyze budget targets Additional Position Specific Responsibilities: Ability to multi task and meet deadlines Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree with a major in a business subject (e.g. accounting, finance, economics) and 3-5 years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications: Strong analytical skills; accounting degree; grant portfolio management experience Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $67,771.14 - $100,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
