Position Summary:
Provide administrative support to the production department by entering various types of data from the JDE system into manageable reports. Work closely with inventory in various capacities to assure efficient productivity.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconcile production daily using line sheets versus scanned cases
- Works closely with inventory control and production personnel on ingredient and inventory variances
- Inventories work-in-progress (WIP) totes, WIP spices and butter daily
- Enters oil receivers into AS400 from railcars and tankers that were unloaded by the tank farm daily
- Downloads data from the AS400 system and enters into the schedule attainment report daily
- Assist production department with batch sheets and schedules daily
- Enters re-work into AS400 and JDE system daily
- Responsible for following all food safety policies, procedures and regulatory criteria including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated preventive controls
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
1 or more years of experience in a food manufacturing environment
Knowledge and Skills:
- Requires organizational and excellent math skills including decimals, fractions and percentages
- Requires knowledge of all Microsoft computer programs, including Word and Excel as well as Outlook and AS400
- Must be able to follow instructions and work independently
- Must have good reasoning abilities in making work-related decisions

Physical Demands:
Regularly requires intermittent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Physical strength and dexterity sufficient to perform the required task(s). Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance. Additional demands may be required.
Work Environment:
In addition to normal business hours, work schedules may include after hours and weekends as needed. May work outside and in adverse temperatures which include extreme hot, cold, and humidity. Must be willing and able to wear personal protective equipment as required by established Company Safety standards.
