EnSafe is accepting applications for an Industrial Hygienist Environmental Scientist based in our Nashville, TN office location.

What We Are Looking For

As an Industrial Hygienist or Environmental Scientist you will work on a wide range of projects in an environment that fosters creativity, collaboration at all levels, a culture of support, and professional growth. What You Will Be Doing:

  • Conduct mold investigations
  • Perform asbestos/lead/mold inspections
  • Conduct asbestos abatement oversite and air monitoring
  • Perform indoor air quality inspections
  • Perform radon monitoring
  • Evaluate and implement applications of technology to support and enhance project delivery.
  • Prepare field documentation and write technical reports.
  • Prepare work plans and project preparation.
  • Perform work with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications:

  • BS or BA with a focus on scientific, health and safety, periods, or environmental degrees.
  • 4 plus years of environmental field experience
  • Asbestos inspector and/or Asbestos Project Monitor Training
  • Communication, written and verbal, is critical to success.
  • Candidate will have or be trained for a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and other applicable training/certifications.
  • Ability to travel, mostly within Tennessee, with overnights will be required.
  • Candidates must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions and for extended periods. Candidates must also be able to meet the physical demands associated with performing field work, including climbing ladders, working from bridges, lifting up to 50 pounds, working in a standing position for extended periods of time, sites, etc.
