Responsibilities

Keysight Technologies Inc. seeks a Service Engineer Supervisor with demonstrated experience in servicing the calibration and repair needs of high-tech customers. The selected candidate will be supervising a team of technicians and/or engineers while working alongside them to provide calibration and repair support on customer units. This fulltime position located in Roseville California, will be responsible for service delivery excellence, technical performance, customer satisfaction, and quality/regulatory compliance for the passive RF device teams. The ability to grow capacity and capability while driving productivity improvements and cost reductions is paramount.

This position requires proven leadership abilities and strong people management skills to effectively lead a growing, multi-shift operation of technicians/engineers. Effective communication and partnering skills across internal teams as well as with external customers is a must. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the assigned personnel.

The responsibilities of the Service Engineer Supervisor will include:

* Oversee calibration and repair services of multi-OEM test & measurement instrumentation.* Provide customer-focused leadership for all passive RF device teams.* Closely manage team performance to achieve or exceed defined customer commitments for Ship-on-Time and Turn Around Time.* Drive continuous improvement of all operational process efficiencies to maximize gross margins.* Test, calibrate/validate and repair Keysight or Multi-OEM electronic test equipment or analytical instruments, products and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy.* Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and calibrate electronic precision measurement equipment and calibration laboratory reference standards.* Interpret customer requirements and potential needs to meet customer satisfaction goals. * Manage internal processes to meet ISO 17025 and AS9100 quality requirements and other Keysight-defined technical and quality system requirements.
* Actively support higher level key initiatives and projects.

Required Qualifications1. Associates Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent or 5 + years relevant technical experience.2. Experience managing a calibration and repair team for test and measurement equipment.3. Practical experience and ability to solve problems requiring breadth/depth of knowledge of repair, calibration, metrology principles, repair and preventative maintenance techniques equipment and processes.4. Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, activities & deadlines successfully.5. Basic knowledge of metrology principles and measurement uncertainties.6. Strong leadership skills biased toward communications, employee development, and management-by-objectives.7. Demonstrated track record of maintaining strong customer relationships with supporting metrics.8. Familiarity with LEAN and Six Sigma to drive process improvements and efficiency gains.9. Demonstrated effectiveness in communicating plans & objectives to a technical team.10. Excellent communications skills & experience in building relationships across organizations.
11. Have 5+ years' experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating electronic precision measurement equipment and calibration standards.

Desired Qualifications1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent or 10 + years relevant technical experience required. 2. 5+ years' experience managing a calibration and repair team for test and measurement equipment.3. Practical experience with RF passive devices and ability to solve complex problems requiring breadth/depth of knowledge of repair, calibration, metrology principles, repair and preventative maintenance techniques equipment and processes.4. Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, activities & deadlines successfully.5. Detailed knowledge of metrology principles and measurement uncertainties.6. Strong leadership skills biased toward communications, employee development, and management-by-objectives.7. Demonstrated leadership in complex technical areas.8. Demonstrated track record of maintaining strong customer relationships with supporting metrics.9. Functional experience in Six Sigma projects to drive process improvements and efficiency gains10. Demonstrated effectiveness in communicating plans & objectives to a technical team.11. Excellent communications skills & experience in building relationships across organizations.
12. Have 10 + years' experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating electronic precision measurement equipment and calibration standards.

Pay Range:

USD $86,250.00 - USD $143,750.00 Year
