Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Program Leader to join our INSPIRE team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary:

The INSPIRE Program Leader is responsible for coordination of all INSPIRE programs, supports interdisciplinary stroke education, and ongoing INSPIRE program development to meet the needs of our customers. Team member demonstrates knowledge of stroke and the continuum of care and serves as liaison to the community and other departments or programs across HealthPartners.

The INSPIRE Program Leader will communicate timely, clearly and in a professional manner with staff, patients, patient family members, physicians, and other internal/external customers. Team member will demonstrate appropriate skills in listening, conflict management, problem solving, decision-making and process improvement.

The INSPIRE Program Leader is responsible for assuring that all PNHS Living our Values are achieved through daily departmental operations. This includes, but is not limited to, direct patient contact, professional growth and development, program evaluation, compliance with regulatory standards (JCAHO, CARF, DNV, OSHA, professional organizations, and other regulatory agencies); and participating in process improvements to advance program objectives.

Work Schedule:

Mon - Fri 8:00 to 4:30 with occasional hours outside of this

Required Qualifications:



  • Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

    • Required 3 to 5 years of healthcare or community liaison experience.

  • Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

    • NA

  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Training in support group facilitation and program development.
    • Knowledge of stroke and the recovery process.
    • Proven proficiency in the operation of the following: Personal Computer, Telephone, Fax Machine, Photocopier, Printer, and electronic medical record.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:

    • Recommended a bachelor's degree in health-related area.
    • Recommended experience as a group leader and/or project leader preferably in medical or clinical setting.
    • Recommended experience with community/governmental resources and grant writing.
    • Recommended experience with business fundraising/marketing.
