Cardinal Intellectual Property is actively seeking QA Analyst who will be a part of building the next generation of web-applications for patent and trademark services.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Developing functional, integration and regression testing approaches, plans, and scripts for all applications
  • Coordinating with business and technical members in determining the testable elements of functional and technical designs.
  • Executing testing scripts, overseeing the execution of testing scripts in the execution of functional, integration and regression testing.
  • Logging and tracking to closure the bugs discovered in functional, integration and regression testing.
  • Summarizing and providing reporting and analysis on the progress of testing on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Documenting the end results of functional, integration and regression testing.
  • As the QA Analyst gains experience in the application, you will be expected to handle level-2 customer support calls related to application issues, triage them with the development team on the fixes and provide resolutions to the end-users on a timely basis
  • Documenting the issues notified by the end users, their underlying root-causes, and troubleshooting information, to help speed up the future issues handling and fixing underlying issues


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Understand agile methodology for application development, and familiarity with tools such as Jira for application development task/sprint management.
  • Strong verbal and written and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and effective interpersonal and communication skills with clients, coworkers, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience with test-driven development.
  • Agile testing experience
  • Proficiency in estimating requirements with story points with a Sprint
  • Knowledge of Git, Jenkins for CI/CD
  • Able to demonstrate functional knowledge of Java, Selenium Web Driver, TestNg


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Natural Science and Technology related fields
  • 3-5 years Quality Assurance experience
  • Experience with both front-end (UI) and back-end (API's) testing
  • Experience with Jira and TestRail
