Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Purchasing Administrator! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. Three maverick farmers started it all - and we've been making our own way ever since. Ocean Spray Cranberries is looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join our Supply Chain team! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting purchasing operations for Purchasing teams. You will process purchase orders, ensure supply availability, and conduct periodic inventories of supplies. You will also coordinate with vendors on purchasing terms and ensure vendors maintain Cooperative service standards. Additionally, you will assist Operations Purchasing teams in improving cost efficiency and monitor purchasing policies.

A Day in the Life...

* Responsible for the overall purchasing process at the plant for both expenses and capital items
* Create and process expense purchase orders using Maximo and Ivalua
* Create and process capital purchase orders using Ivalua
* Function as the plant user expert regarding the Maximo system. Train plant personnel in its proper use
* Monitor and enforce the plant and corporate purchasing policies
* Prepare Monthly Capital Expenditure Report and Place in Service requests
* Provide Utility Tracking and Analysis and develop the Annual Utility Budget
* Perform other projects/duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

* A minimum of 3 years of plant related experience.
* Two to three years purchasing experience, including experience procuring manufacturing equipment
* Knowledge of SAP
* Exposure to Maximo or related systems.
* MS Office
* Excellent communication skills
* Self-directed
* Organized
* Influential

Education:

Associates Degree (Required)

Work Experience:

At least 3 Years of Experience
