Manual Tester - Android/ADB

This team is focused on bringing Android Operating System based Television devices to the market. The devices include televisions, cable set-top-box, & gaming console. To facilitate testing we need a manual test engineer to support on application testing. Please see below for responsibilities and qualifications.

Scope:

* Create functional a tests packs for TV devices and video playback testing.

* Execute test cases incl. regression tests.

* Communicate issues, risks and test status in a timely and detailed manner.

* Collaborate with team members to achieve the best results.

* Manage inventory of devices.

* Assist in construction of onsite TV test facility.

Required:

* Experience with on device Linux and/or ADB (Android Debug Bridge) is a MUST.

*Experience executing regression test cases/plans.

*Experience testing embedded on Android devices.

*Android Application testing experience.

Pluses:

*Understanding of SQA methodologies and best practices.

*Experience testing TV HW including video codecs, audio HW testing, HDMI protocols.

* Basic Java/Python scripting is a plus.

Estimated Min Rate: $35.00
Estimated Max Rate: $45.00
