Senior Compensation Analyst (Process Optimization and Automation) is needed for a contract opportunity with our Entertainment client located in California.

Job Details

Duration: Set to end on 3/31/25 (potential extension)
Location: Remote within the US
Pay rate: Max of $ 79.05 hourly
Start date: As soon as possible.

Job Duties

  • Lead process optimization efforts around market pricing for new and existing roles; creating job profiles in Workday and maintaining job catalog to ensure it is up to date
  • Develop and perform, with minimal direct supervision (once initial guidance has been provided and periodic check-in's established), Excel models and analyses on an ad-hoc basis that would serve to inform compensation program design alternatives and decisions
  • Assist with implementation of survey aggregation software (BetterComp)
  • Oversee salary survey submissions
  • Support annual and mid-year compensation planning, day-to-day program administration, and compensation program automation projects. Partnering closely with our Sr. Compensation Program Managers, examples of responsibilities include annual refresh of our market analysis and salary ranges, preparing BetterComp data loads, data validation, system testing, tracking exception reports, and preparing Workday load files.
  • Support broader SIE Global Compensation Team in developing and/or maintaining key documentation and templates (e.g., incentive plan documents, work plans, communication materials)
  • May interact with stakeholders across HR at times to provide or request information



Knowledge, Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation consultant/analytics role
  • Strong analytical and data analysis, critical thinking, communication and partnering skills to evaluate data, synthesize observations, and provide recommendations
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to deal with ambiguity and operate independently (once guidance has been provided) while driving work to completion.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to manage large quantities of data, data conversion and charting. Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus.
  • Experience with technology/gaming sector compensation surveys and global HR systems
  • Strong Project Management skills; accepts different viewpoints while working toward the best solution
  • Knowledge and experience in HR strategies, practices, and working across disciplines
