Under the supervision of the Early Childhood Program Director, the Public Education Specialist advises students in the Early Childhood program on CTC teacher permit submission. Conducts research and analyzes program content and delivery needs to secure appropriate presentation settings. Prepares detailed reports on program statistics for internal and external audiences. Arranges logistics and ensures appropriate course materials and technology are available to support projects and classes. Provides high-quality customer service to instructors, staff, and educational partners, second-level programmatic expert support to prospective students, and academic service support to enrolled students, in a fast-paced environment. The positions requires the incumbent to have an ECE Teacher Permit and to be bilingual in English and Spanish.
The full salary range for the Early Childhood Program Coordinator - Public Education Specialist 2 is $23.85 - $40.33 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $23.85 - $32.09 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements. |
