AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE: As the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence and Analytics in the Adaptive and Embedded Compute Group (AECG) business unit, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our revenue strategy through data-driven insights. You will focus on leveraging analytics to drive AECG revenue growth, solve business problems, and improve operational efficiency. This position is business management-centric with a heavy focus on revenue forecasting and attainment, and involves working closely with various departments such as IT, Finance, Sales, GOQ and Marketing to ensure that our BI solutions align with business needs and objectives. You will focus on leveraging BI and analytics to drive business outcomes, while collaborating with IT to ensure that our systems are effectively supporting business operations without owning IT backend. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate for the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence and Analytics role will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business operations and revenue processes, with a passion for translating data into actionable insights. They should possess extensive experience in business intelligence and analytics, with a proven track record of driving business value through effective reporting and advanced analytics. The candidate must be proficient in using BI tools such as PowerBI, and have a solid grasp of data management practices. They should demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor a team and manage cross-functional projects that align with business objectives. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role requires close collaboration with various cross-functional teams to deliver tailored analytics solutions. Experience in improving business processes and ensuring data-driven decision-making will be crucial, along with a collaborative approach to working with IT to ensure data and quality needs are met.
