SALARY RANGE: $79,040 - $83,200 per year

Role & Responsibilities:


  • Direct oversight of all Staff.
  • Thorough knowledge of contract statement of work and adherence to performance standards. Must know and understand leadership in a custodial environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of floor care techniques.
  • Participates in daily communication with Contract Officer and on-site crew leaders to ascertain problems/concerns, reach decisions regarding appropriate solutions, and to maintain a high level of satisfaction in terms of quality service, and effective communication at the facility.
  • Trains employees in orientation to the building, proper work techniques, and schedules, usage and conservation of supplies, operation of equipment, and safety practices.
  • Orientation of all program participants/employees on rules and regulation of the facility, and of company.
  • Developing standards or performance for employees.
  • Completion of all necessary paperwork, whether required by customer or Company, to include, but not limited to quality control reports, performance evaluation, and time studies/performance measurements, at a minimum.
  • Safety Responsibilities in addition to complying with the guidelines for all employees:
  • Comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulatory standards and procedures.
  • Ensure that all employees are trained in Company Safety Policies, Rules, and Regulations; trained for the jobs they will be performing; trained for the equipment they will be using; and understand the potential safety hazards in their work area.
  • Constantly monitor the work area, conduct periodic safety inspections, and take immediate corrective action when work areas and/or practices are deemed to be unsafe or deficiencies are found.
  • Conduct accident/incident/near miss investigations in a prompt and thorough manner and initiate procedures to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Be accountable for the failure of any and all employees who fail to follow safety rules and regulations, and acceptable work practices.
  • Ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition and that all safeguards are in place.
  • Oversee and assist all staff.
  • Ensure that the site is operating in compliance with CW policies, state laws, and federal laws.
  • Implement new systems to improve efficiency.



Qualifications & Educational Requirements:


  • Minimum of two years of custodial management experience.
  • College degree or significant related experience.



Preferred Knowledge:


  • Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of the use of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
  • Ability to read and understand labels and instructions, particularly on the use and application of chemicals and products.
  • Working knowledge of federal contracting and federal customers, including FBI.
  • Experience with safety regulations and standards; root cause analysis, data analysis; and preventative/corrective action.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The incumbent is frequently required use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects tools, or controls. The incumbent must spend the entire time at work standing, walking, lifting heavy objects, operating medium-weight cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, sweeping and mopping floors, and moving desks and furniture. The incumbent must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Environmental Demands:
The incumbent works on a daily basis with dangerous and toxic cleaning products that can be very harmful to ones health if not properly utilized. The incumbent also regularly cleans up blood, saliva, and other bodily fluids that are unpleasant to deal with. The condition of washrooms is often unpleasant.

Background Screening:
Must submit to background check prior to hire and ongoing as dictated by contract. Must be able to pass criminal and drug screening processes to meet current contract eligibility requirements that apply.

Must pass an annual military screening to obtain and maintain a CAC card. Must also pass a background check to access the Child Development Centers.
