Industrial Engineering Co-Op - Spring 2025

The Role:
Our site in Bedford is seeking a/an Industrial Engineering Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

What You'll Do:

The Industrial Engineering Co-Op will work alongside Process engineers to support projects of high importance.

* The intent of the role is to allow individuals to be exposed to the technical and management aspects of industrial engineering, while beginning to develop an interest for longer term career aspirations.
* They will support the daily Gemba walks, evaluating and improving our SOPs, work on capacity increase projects and be exposed to capacity analysis.
* They will also support the completion of Kaizen events to drive improvements across operations with respect to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

You're a good fit if you have:

* Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

-You are pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
* Ability to adapt to different team dynamics and cultures.
* Basic understanding of Standard operating procedures and factory dynamics.
* Good Microsoft excel/ spreadsheet skills.
* A good understanding of data and how to use it to our advantage.
* An understanding of the concepts of bottlenecks, time studies and other basic Industrial engineering concepts.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

* Six Sigma Yellow/Green belt
* PowerBI/Minitab skills

Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
Industrial Engineering and related field graduating in Spring/Fall 2025.
