Regional Office Support Leader
Multiple Locations
Garver is in search of a Regional Office Support Leader. This role leads office support staff in multiple offices across the assigned region and partners with the Regional Office Administrators (ROAs) on work planning, scheduling, and office management. Travel will be required for this position in order to visit offices under assigned region and build strong working relationships with ROAs.
Responsibilities:


  • Supervises office support administrators in assigned regional offices
  • Acts as a liaison between Business Team Leaders, ROAs, Project Managers, other support staff, and Office Support Administrators
  • Supports interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of new office support
  • Coordinates and assists with new office set up
  • Works with the Office Support Administrators to ensure office equipment and/or maintenance needs are met
  • Identifies, develops, coordinates, and facilitates resource needs and training with the Office Support Services Leader and other Regional Office Support Leaders
  • Assigns coverage or fills in as needed at a new office or when an Office Support Administrator is absent
  • Overnight travel will be required
  • Stay connected and drive Garver cultural initiatives throughout the Office Support Team
  • Monitor employee productivity to provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Address complaints and troubleshoot problems to achieve resolution
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures, undertaking disciplinary actions when needed
  • Ensure business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met to include complying with Garver's Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles
  • Direct employees to the correct Office Support Administrator or elsewhere in the organization to maximize internal customer service
  • Requisition a company credit card and set up direct bill accounts (Staples, Worldwide Express, Stamps.com, etc.) for new Office Support Administrators
  • Advise on office event planning, logistics, and budgets
  • Develop relationships and communication plans with respective Regional Office Administrators
  • Interact with staff, clients, sub- contractors, and general public
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid Driver's License (There will be times you will have to drive a company vehicle)
  • A minimum of 7 years related, professional experience
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, organization, problem- solving, and customer service abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite software
  • Ability to train and mentor employees within the office support track


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Supervisory experience
  • Basic IT experience


Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Able to lift or carry up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech to communicate in- person and on the phone
  • Visual acuity to read printed materials and screens

Work Environment
Duties and responsibilities are generally performed in an office setting. Occasional travel to offsite locations to perform work and work-related tasks or to attend meetings may be required.
