(MTSI) is searching for a Technical Writer to support United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment. Role and Responsibilities: As a Technical Writer with MTSI, your development activities at the Cyber Operations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, and competencies to implement lead, agile, and DevOps at scale. Additionally, this program office personifies DevSecOps which automates the integration of security at every phase of the software development lifecycle from initial design, through integration, testing, deployment, and software delivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployable defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to USSF mission systems. Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: Reviews, plans, and evaluates network communications systems. Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting. Provides tactical and strategic input on overall network communications planning and related projects. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. The pay range for this position in Colorado is $70,000/year to $95,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract rates, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act.
