Summary The Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager with the daily transportation support, including organizing and processing shipping orders, routing shipments, scheduling carriers, entering shipping information and utilizing scanning software to scan shipping documents daily. This position has a high degree of interaction with employees in Corporate Customer Service, Traffic and Purchasing, Warehouse, and MIS departments. This position also has a high degree of interaction with the transportation companies on a daily basis. Hours of work for this position are 8:30AM -5:00 PM Responsibilities

Physical Demands Rarely pushes, pulls, reclines, crouches, kneels, twists, climbs, balances, crawls, reaches horizontally, below the waist, above the shoulder, or uses manual dexterity. Occasionally lifts, carries, stands, and squats. Frequently sits and walks. Working Conditions Rarely deals with low temperature, high temperature, wetness, slippery surfaces, moving objects, vibration, confined spaces, high elevation, oil, explosives, electrical hazards, toxic conditions, low humidity, high humidity, chemical irritants, or odors.
