Responsibilities

As an integral member of the Credit Operations Department, this position is mainly responsible for processing advance requests on commercial construction and other specialized loans. Additionally, the person in this role will assist with settlement details with participating/syndicate banks and other internal departments as needed.

Essential Duties:

  • Upload respective data files to syndicate/participating banks.
  • Reviews loan documentation for accuracy and adherence to compliance and procedure. Identify errors in calculations and/or missing documentation.
  • Review and process requests to and from participating/syndicate banks.
  • Review and process advance requests on commercial construction loans.
  • Communicate with other internal and external customers.
  • Adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner

Ancillary Duties:

Provide assistance wherever necessary to help the Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals.


Qualifications

Education, Training and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma plus two (2) years of additional specialized education or equivalent.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and proven organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively under time constraints.
  • Strong personal computer skills, including ability to create, use, and manipulate data on Excel spreadsheets.

Experience:

  • Two (2) years of accounting experience required with emphasis on commercial loan preferred.

Hours: 40 hours/week

Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
