Functional Accountabilities
System Management

• Oversight of department activities related to the implementation and maintenance of the Supply Chain Information Systems (SCIS). Acts as an immediate liaison internal and externally with customers including but not limited to purchasing, distribution, value analysis, revenue integrity, finance, surgical services and information services on all CNH Supply Chain systems issues.

• Manages and directs configuration and maintenance, reporting, role assignment, testing and content and data management within all Supply Chain Information Systems including but not limited to enterprise resource planning (ERP), Blue Bin, SharePoint, Bartender, GHX, EMR, Smart Scan, Microsoft Access databases.

• Manages the data collection, analysis, interpretation, integration and reporting processes available among reporting tools.

• Manages systems content and integration points and collaborates with Information Services on technical jobs and error resolution.

• Manages and executes vision for accurate and robust data for all Supply Chain information systems. Continuously investigates and executes on opportunities to enhance, streamline, and integrate supply chain data and content throughout SCIS and CNH enterprise.

• Manages Supply Chain business activities and functions being supported by systems and effectively translates business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with Information Services.

Project Management and Training

• Formulates and defines the scope and objectives of SCIS and other projects as assigned. Ensures documentation and completion of assigned projects.

• Ensures functional accuracy, completes impact analysis and performs appropriate system testing before introducing changes into the production environment. Manage Supply Chain teams during user acceptance testing and quality assurance testing.

• Maintains functional and technical skill base current, as well as, learns and applies skills to all SCIS application development.

• Manages SCIS system upgrades and releases and advocates for Supply Chain business requirements with Information Services to resolve system problems effectively and independently.

• Communicates plans and delegates tasks to appropriate department staff during system updates and releases. Addresses problems that arise during design, configuration and testing, and manages team to resolution.

• Provides training services and initiates training models and content that lead to increased adoption and performance effectiveness of all Supply Chain Information Systems.

• Participates, contributes to internal/ external committees, professional organizations, community activities.

Data Analytics

• Responsible for support and oversight of the SCIS Team with strategic vision for supply expense reduction while increasing clinical quality, and maintaining patient safety objectives as established by the overall mission of the organization.

• Manages the SCIS team in the interpretation and analysis of complex data to support daily departmental operations, strategic sourcing and initiatives.

• Designs, develops, and manages all content and data reports for Supply Chain. Partner with CNH Information Services on integration of supply chain databases and enterprise data analytics report development and execution.

• Manages and delegates departmental data related projects to reach the strategic vision of the organization.
