About the team

Our Legal, Risk, Compliance and Audit teams ensure we're doing business the right way. They help us balance a healthy risk appetite, so we're empowered to expand our horizons. The Sanctions and Regulatory Compliance Technology and Controls team oversees multiple data governance and quality initiatives, ensuring efficient and accurate screening through ActOne and other risk mitigation tools. We support regulatory compliance teams by enhancing or developing processes to automate or streamline routine tasks and by facilitating collaboration across the organization.

What you'll own

  • Drive Data Integrity Initiatives: Assist in the design, execution, and organizational promotion of control structures to improve data quality and identify areas for improvement in related areas such as data mapping and lineage.
  • Data Analysis, Visualization, and Storytelling: Develop and implement data quality checks using complex queries, stored procedures, and scripting. Create interactive dashboards and reports to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Documentation: Maintain documentation of database architectures and lineage throughout the Worldpay Regulatory Compliance tech-stack.
  • Stakeholder Support: Bridge gaps between data owners, data consumers, business stakeholders, and Regulatory Compliance teams. Articulate complex information regarding the implementation and ongoing development of data governance policies and data quality initiatives.

Where you'll own it

You'll own it in from our Cincinnati, Alabama or Denver hub. While we're a large team of Worldpayers based in North America, we have collaborative spaces and regular opportunities to celebrate with each other in person.

What you bring

  • T-SQL/Snowflake SQL: 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Snowflake Data Cloud creating complex queries, stored procedures, and functions in the context of Finance, Payments, or FinTech.
  • Python/R: 1+ year of experience with data manipulation and visualization libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, dplyr, tidyr, or ggplot.
  • Microsoft Power Platform: Experience in the development and implementation of automation and streamlining is a plus!
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends in multiple contexts, including Regulatory Compliance (Sanctions, AML, Financial Crime), Data Governance/Mapping, and Process Automation.
  • Self-Starter: Proactive and driven, with a knack for overcoming challenges and driving projects forward. Willingness to learn new tools and technologies as needed.
  • Assertively Collaborative: Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to present findings and build consensus between business, technology, and regulatory compliance stakeholders.

The pay range for this full-time position is $89,180.00 - $149,820.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
