Venable LLP's West Coast Private Wealth Planning Group seeks a senior associate or counsel level attorney with a minimum of five years of experience in high-net-worth wealth planning to join the practice in the Los Angeles or San Francisco office.
The successful candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills; outstanding academic credentials; experience managing large projects; ability to interface with clients and their outside advisors; and solid grasp of estate, gift and GST tax planning strategies. Candidates must have at least five years of independent drafting experience. Candidates who have law firm or accounting firm experience in estate planning and are currently enrolled in or have completed a related LL.M. program are preferred. Candidates must have a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the California bar. Please include law school transcripts with submissions.

The salary range for associate positions is $205,000 to $365,000 per year, depending upon associate level. Venable LLP is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
